Flying High at the Kelpies: A Drone Operator's Perspective on the Tasting Event for Rosebank Distillery's Whisky

As a drone operator working in the film industry, I recently had the opportunity to work on a project for the newly built Rosebank Distillery in Falkirk, Scotland.

The distillery hosted an exclusive invite-only tasting event, where whisky journalists were given the opportunity to sample the first dram of Rosebank whisky inside the Kelpies. It was a truly unique experience and a fitting way to showcase the distillery's commitment to quality and tradition.

The Rosebank Distillery is located in the heart of Falkirk, surrounded by rolling hills and lush greenery. The area is rich in history and culture, making it the perfect place to craft a truly unique whisky. The distillery is currently under construction, but from the air, it's easy to see the progress that's being made and the attention to detail that's going into every aspect of the building.

These iconic sculptures, which stand at over 30 meters tall, are a nod to the area's rich equestrian heritage and are a must-see for any visitor to Falkirk. The Kelpies also provided a unique and dramatic backdrop for the distillery, adding to the sense of place and history that is so important to the Rosebank brand.

Overall, it was a privilege to be a part of such an exciting project and I am looking forward to seeing the finished product. If you're a whisky enthusiast, or simply looking for a unique experience in Falkirk, Scotland, be sure to keep an eye out for the release of Rosebank Distillery's whisky. And if you have a chance to visit, you will be able to see the wonderful view from the sky that I captured.
