Aerial filming in Orkney, Scotland

Orbital Marine are developing a tidal energy device which will sit in the strong tidal flows in-between islands in Orkney. The massive structure will be anchored to the seabed and the energy is produced from turbines attached to arms at the side of the machine.

Working with Stramash film we spent a week back in October filming in Orkney with some of the crew to tell their story about the project. This first is ‘Ryan’s Story’ - the lead electrical technician who is helping create a better future for generations to come
